To save the world...
Can one person or one small company singlehandedly save the world - bring about world peace, find an end to hunger, war, oppression, racism, hate and poverty? Probably not. Does that mean we should "scale it down a bit" and find a more realistic goal? Definitely not. If every choice made is in alignment with saving the world, then we have to be moving in the right direction. Saving the world will guide us through all of the smaller, more finite goals along the way.
- further the progress of (something, esp. a cause, venture or aim); support or actively encourage.
- give publicity to (a product, organization, or venture) so as to increase sales or public awareness.
Little Black Mask promotes through marketing, which is an umbrella-term under which our services fall. Creative strategy. Branding. Visual communication. Advertising. Graphic design for print and online. Copywriting. Illustration. Networking. These are all umbrellas, too, under which many other facets fall, all of which help to promote by increasing awareness and sales.
...entities and individuals who make a positive impact.
You don't have to be a non-profit organization providing shelter to the homeless or a surgeon donating your services to the needy in order to make a positive impact. You simply need to follow the golden rule and do no harm. If you do not harm, you will, by default, do good. Providing someone with the opportunity to purchase just the right couch at just the right price can improve their life in unseen ways. If everyone benefits from an honest action, an honest transaction, then good has been done.
At first take, it might not seem like selling an attractive couch at an honest price will save the world, but if everyone followed this "make a positive impact" philosophy, then no harm would be done. No harm means no hunger, no war, no oppression, racism, hate or poverty. No harm means world peace.
